Marketing Victim (with secret ninja powers)
i can now join the rest of the world in posting terrible one-click photos.
i finally got one. me, who can’t even text. me, who can’t have nice electronic things because they commit suicide the second they see me coming. but i wanted it. i’ve wanted it since the first day it came out. i came up with all sorts of excuses of why i needed it. but really, it just looks sexy. and it has games.
i went out today to buy a case for it as i can sense i am going to have issues hanging onto it. i wanted something grippy, shock absorbing and a hard shell with a touch through screen protector.. apparently a tall order. couldn’t find one so i left to hit the next store on my errand list for ribbon (exciting, i know).
my first order of business at Michaels was to drop my phone. not really drop it, but it just sorta shot out of my hand. flung, if you will… oh, it tried to get away. anyone remember those stupid toys back in the 80’s that were little more than a tube-shaped balloon designed to fall through your hands? yeah.. the scene sorta looked like that. when i realized i wasn’t going to catch it i did a little scoop and lift and managed to change it’s trajectory from the floor to a shelf with some fine wicker baskets on it about three feet in front of me across the aisle. no harm done, i thought it was hilarious. the woman next to me saw the whole thing go down, but apparently didn’t appreciate my ninja-like skills as she looked at me like i was insane and quickly walked away in disgust. what, you never see a girl chuck a phone into a set of baskets with such precision before? some people have no appreciation for the ridiculous.
(and yes jaime, this post is for you. it’s a proud moment.. a crappy photo of myself taken with an iphone.)

yeah, i gave in! well, i’ve always wanted it so i guess i gave in a long time ago. it was mostly a money thing and I really didn’t realize how easy it was to hook it up to Tmobile- but thanks to a random craigslist deal the unlocking went down really smoothly and I managed to find a good deal on a phone too. the phone itself is nice, but it’s the silly little things like.. SHAZAM that is making my life better already. i’m sure at some point i’ll figure out how to use the adult features that will actually help me use it for business purposes.

Hey Kim,
Congrats on the iphone…has it changed your life? … don’t worry
about keeping it safe. I got over the scratches pretty soon!
I’ve had it for over a year and it’s still working fine…I’ll
make Bonnie get one eventually…
